Eis mais uma imagem postada no site iLucato da série de rejeições do iStockphoto. Esta imagem entra na categoria não satisfatória para banco de imagem. (Not suitable).

Yup, I have other examples that some where rejected and later approved by Scout process and now they sell very well. Of course there are images that they’re right, they get approved after Scout and don’t sell a download, but IMHO and as I’ve suggested at suggestion box, they should give a try for images rejected as not suitable for iStock. Once I’ve suggested the we would make a bet with iStock for example 5 credits and if it doesn’t sell a download within a month we will pay iStock these 5 credits and the image will be removed, otherwise iStock pay back the double and will keep the image. When getting the not suitable rejection we should be able to opt to accept the rejection or make the bet or other stuff like send to the dollarbin. Well something like that. :0)
Yup, certainly I’ll keep all them. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to sell the rejected ones elsewhere once now a days I’m an exclusive member from iStock, but if one day I change the status to a non-exclusive I’ll upload them to the other sites.

What do they know anyway. One of my images had the same rejection (and it’s made me approx $400.00 USD, to date, elsewhere and was used as a full page in a published book!)

And, that is only one example of MANY worthy images that have gone on to earn me a pile of cash!
Keep the faith (and the images – they may be worth something to you in the future if ever you’re allowed to sell rejected images).
It’s more important what the buyers think.
